FCM (Consumption Management System)

The FCM- Fuel management system is a product developed for managing consumption of diesel on vessels.

The FCM allows employers to know the cost of fuel makes the vessel at all times to achieve greater energy efficiency resulting in lower fuel consumption and pollutant emission reduction.

Consumption data along with other variables that may affect it (main engine speed, temperature of exhaust pipe, turbo boost pressure, wind speed and direction, heel and trim, …) are monitored in real time through TFT screen and recorded in system memory on a regular basis (register frequency programmable).

Known consumption practices, it is easy to design tactics for improvement with the aim of achieving optimization of energy efficiency, achieving a lower fuel consumption and reduce pollutant emissions.

The information provided by the system will make changes in the pattern of exploitation activity aimed at achieving maximum energy efficiency and therefore maximum fuel economy. Each fishery, each boat, each engine is different and has some specific demands, but our experience with this system has allowed us to reduce our customers energy costs. A 1% reduction in engine operating regime route has meant reductions in consumption of over 10%.

New trawl doors, nets, propellers design and bulbs, special paints, use of green energies,…, fuel saving techniques with which we can reach energy savings of 30%, but based on our FCM system for the analysis and point of departure for energy efficiency.

Besides the Real Time display, the FCM allows remote management of the system with the option of having all the information generated by the system safely, accessing our server from anywhere in the world. This feature allows to diagnose the system remotely and provide a high quality technical service.
